Q - Do I need a referral from my doctor for Physiotherapy treatment?
A - No, you can make an appointment without a referral from your GP
but some health insurance companies require this to authorise
re-imbursement of fees.

Q - Will the cost of Physiotherapy be covered by my Health Insurance?
A - Yes, our Physiotherapists are registered with the major health
insurance companies. It may be advisable to check with your insurance
company before starting treatment as they may need to authorise it.

Q - How quickly can I be seen?
A - We try to offer an appointment the same day or hopefully
within 24 hrs.

Q - What should I bring with me?
A - If you have any relevant information about your injury, x-rays, scans etc please bring this with you. If you have private healthcare please bring your policy number/authorisation code.

A - Yes evening appointments are available upto 8pm

A - Each session is 30 minutes long.

Q - I've just had Orthopaedic surgery, can I come to you for
Physiotherapy?
A - Yes, we treat a wide variety of post-operative conditions,
from arthroscopic surgeries to spinal fusions. We have specialised
knowledge in post-operative care and can communicate closely with
your surgeon if special instructions are needed.

Q - How many treatments will I need?
A - This varies depending on your condition and severity, you may
only need one or two visits in some cases. Sometimes, however, you
condition may be a little more complicated and you may need several
weeks of rehab before getting better. Your therapist will always try
to give a rough indication of how many visits you may require.
Generally, the less the time you have had your symptoms the quicker
the recovery time.

Q - Can I bring a family member or friend?
A - Yes, we welcome patients to bring a friend or family member, but
please remember that due to room size we cannot get your whole family in!
We request that any patient under 16 years that they are accompanied by
a parent or Guardian.
